Understand fight purses, manager fees, ticket revenue and weekly upkeep. Track your local game ledger and keep your boxing promotional company solvent.

KNOW THE FIGHT BUSINESS

Understand your promoter's cash balance

The company ledger records every in-game dollar paid or received. Cash is starting capital plus income minus spending. This is a fictional game economy, with no real payments, loans or betting.

Know when the money moves

A signing bonus is charged when a boxer joins. Event guarantees are charged when the fight is signed. Ticket and merchandise receipts arrive only after the event runs. Office overhead costs $150 per week and stable upkeep costs $75 per active signed boxer per week. Sponsor payments, rival buyouts and replacement adjustments also appear in the ledger.

Event profit is not company profit

Event profit excludes signing bonuses, $250 training camps and weekly bills. Review the whole ledger before buying another prospect or booking a larger venue. If cash becomes negative after weekly settlement, the career ends. The worked budget example shows how a projected $8,740 event profit becomes a smaller company gain. Use Matchmaking to compare future event costs before committing.
